Terry Matalas

We’re excited to welcome Terry Matalas as out guest to EM-Con.

Terry is an American television writer, director, and executive producer, best known for co-creating and showrunning 12 Monkeys, which ran for four seasons on SyFy. He was a showrunner on the fourth season of MacGyver for CBS and the second and third seasons of Star Trek: Picard on Paramount+.

Terry is currently working for Marvel Studios to serve as showrunner for a Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series Vision Quest,starring the character Vision, set for release in 2026, He will also be the showrunner for Magic: The Gathering which is TBA.
